The Climax Jazz Band was one of several traditional jazz bands on Celebrity's Constellation cruise ship during the first two weeks of January 2011. The cruise left San Diego, made several port calls before traversing the Panama Canal, and then made one stop in Columbia before sailing for Fort Lauderdale. The performance recorded here was on January 13. Wolverine Blues was written by Jelly Roll Morton, John C Spikes, and Benjamin F Spikes. The dixieland band members on this cruise were: Clarinet - Mick Lewis; cornet - Marc Caparone; trombone - Len Gosling; banjo - Jack Vincken; drums - Benji Bohannon; double bass (and band leader) -Chris Daniels.
