DESCRIPTION:
On December 21st 2011, there was a special astrological occurrence called a Winter Solstice Equinox. The Sun, Earth and Moon were in direct alignment, and the effect could be visible on the full Moon as it became more and more blotted- out from the Sun. I decided to stay up and periodically photograph this event (which won't occur again in our lifetime). Some photos are blurry, because I was shooting in total darkness!!! The next day I sat down with my Holloway Harp Guitar and, as a "flow" (as I like to call them-basically a "whatever comes to mind/off-the-cuff" session); and recorded the basic track for this 19 minute piece of music.
