BIOGRAPHY
We are proud to announce that we just finished building our own recording studio and that we are preparing a new live set and our next album. We'll be back in business spring 2009! Check us out and don't hesitate to contact us if you have questions about bookings!
Also we would like to thank everyone who supported us this week while being "on air" on Stubru! It's nice to see you people didn't forget us. Rest assured, we didn't forget about you either. We're cooking up some deliciously sweet reggae music straight from the heart and soul. Keep in touch!

Windub is a Belgian reggae band homebased in the Westcoast area. We could give you an infinite list of all the influences that make Windub sound like Windub, but still. you'd better come and check us out live or have a listen to our cd. Have fun, spread love and stay positive!
Windub originally started in 2003 as a percussion band. One year later One I, Mad Haze and Xanjah decided to learn to play the keys, guitar and drums. Together with NLS666 on bass and Robin Good board, they opened the first edition of Rock Nieuwpoort, which was also their first public appearance. After that, they played some memorable gigs along the Belgian Westcoast area. In 2005 D-Purpose (sax) and Forrest Trump (trumpet) joined the band and Windub started working on their first demo. 2006 will be remembered as the year in which Windub won both the Public's Price as well as the Jury's Price at the "Verse Vis" music contest. This assured them a place on the Leffingeleuren festival in september 2006. During the summer of 2006 Dr. Ovar (ex- Dub & Dr Ovar, Café Con Leche) joined Windub as lead guitarist.
Windub released their first full length album in July 2007 and is currently playing festivals and gigs around Belgium.
Windub had the honour and lots of fun sharing the stage with: Zion Train, New York SKa Jazz Ensemble, Radikal Dub Kollektiv, The Turntable Dubbers, The Herbaliser, Café Con Leche, Mystère, Starflam, Sayag Jazz Machine, Pura Vida, Wrong'em Boyo, Colorless Green Ideas, Juliette & The Licks, Lady Lynn and her magnificent seven, Gorki, Therapy?, The Mighty Pirates, Manouche, ABN, Camden, Preuteleute, Buscemi & many more.
