ILONA is a singer/songwriter with Bulgarian roots, based in London for the past 13 years. After starting her musical journey 5 years ago with no experience and a concert with just 1 song, she has gone to tour the UK and the US twice, headline festivals in Norway, play SXSW in Texas, as well as Isle of Wight, C2C Country to Country, and BST Hyde Park in the UK. She has supported Passenger, Adam Ant, Jamie Lawson, Hudson Taylor, Paul Rodgers, Tom Jones and Daniel Bedingfield to name a few, jammed with Ed Sheeran, and performed exclusively at The House of Commons and twice at The US Embassy. She is the first Bulgarian-born artist to have original music playlisted on BBC radio stations in the UK and on the national Cafe Nero playlist, as well as a record playlisted on US radio station EXIT 97.7 WEXT in NY. After releasing 2 EPs, she completed a successful tour of the US this summer, including a sold out Bluebird Cafe in Nashville and Cutting Room in NYC. She is to headline the Brooklyn Bowl at the O2, continue writing a new record in Nashville, and perform in Las Vegas in early 2017.
