The two pieces he performs are Nigun from Baal Shem by Ernest Bloch and Efrem Zimablist's Fantasy on themes from Rimsky-Korsakov's opera The Golden Cockerel.

William has been a musician from a young age, playing the violin from the age of four and becoming a member of the National Children's Orchestra only a few years later.

He was also a talented treble singer, becoming BBC Radio 2 Young Chorister of the Year in 2006, and was a member of the treble boyband The Choirboys as well as one of the three boys in Kenneth Branagh's film production of The Magic Flute.

William is currently a student at the Yehudi Menuhin School and will be continuing his musical studies in Lausanne, Switzerland, from September.
