Who U Wit?

This is a joint by Matt Fingaz called "1 Degree Of Me," produced by

Just Blaze. It features verses from The Game and Talib Kweli, a new

r&b artist from Oklahoma named Jelly, and audio commentary from Large

Professor and Rahzel. It's like an audio resume. Matt Fingaz has a

long history in the hip-hop game. He was one of the pioneers New

York's late 90s underground indie rap boom with his label Guesswhyld

Productions (the only other labels at the time were Fondle Em' and

Rawkus). He's credited with being the first person to ever buy a beat

off Just Blaze, literally kick-starting his career. He did the same

for Hi-Tek, Talib Kweli, Mos Def, and countless others.

The past few years he's stepped behind the scenes and been the VP of

Operations for Shady Records artist Stat Quo's company Grown Man

Music, and played an instrumental role in developing the producer LT

Moe, who's produced for Snoop Dogg, Ludacris, Tony Yayo, etc. He's

also co-managed an r&b artist by the name of Keon Bryce (Nas' "War"),

alongside G-Unit head honcho Sha Money XL. Recently, he created his

own multi-tiered company, Who U Wit? Entertainment, which specializes

in producer management, consultation, project coordination, and artist

booking.
