Premise Beach - Hold Me Now (Music Video / 720 HD Version) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 30, 2012
DESCRIPTION:
On our first visit to Premise Beach, Jon Covell wooed the mysterious Mikolah with "a lovely, delicate piece of acoustic pop" (Drowned in Sound). This time round he's plugged in the guitars and found an upbeat groove, but the air of heartfelt honesty and anxiety remains. Put simply in his own words "Hold Me Now is a guitar song, a track built out bits of guitars".

Hold Me Now is backed by an alternative mix by fellow Mancunians, Working for a Nuclear Free City, which draws out extra kick and attitude from the original production.

Jon has yet to make his live debut, due to an acute hearing sensitivity which has kept a Premise Beach studio entity so far. Despite this unfortunate restriction to perform on the live stage, PRS for Music still recently recognised Premise Beach as "a very exciting prospect indeed" in their M Magazine.

Following the aforementioned Mikolah, Hold Me Now is the second instalment in the four-part "Welcome to... Premise Beach" series of digital singles released bimonthly on the Pure Casual label.
