DESCRIPTION:
The World Cafe Live in Philadelphia hosts an open mic called Philly Rising, hosted by Boy Wonder (the Hype!). Every Monday there are 30 or so performers, and each month 3-4 get picked as "standouts." Well, we got picked and so we moved on to the monthly round, competing against 3 other standouts. And... we got picked again. This is our performance from that night. We went to to the final round, competing against 11 other bands. We were all picked from 1000 performers throughout the year. What an amazing experience to be a part of. Thank you World Cafe and Philly Rising.

Douglas Thomas is from Lancaster, PA. He's a live performer, writer, artist, pianist, guitarist, singer, etc. People have compared his sound to Radiohead, Jeff Buckely, Damien Rice, Bob Dylan.
