This video was shot in the Western most part of Montréal in early October of 2014. This video was to emulate the mundane state of a relationship that is suffering as a result of some past wrongs that have left a stain that is hard to get rid of leaving the two people in a state of angst and regret. One person in the relationship tries to reach out to the other only to be pushed away. One pleas for a change of environment to rediscover what they once had. Often times throughout the video, this is symbolized by use of color which was abundant because of the oncoming fall season. Also the use of water was representive of the ever changing state of the relationship and the use of spices represented the relationship being tainted. One most apparent visual was the man fighting with the white fabric underwater symbolizing the fight for anew. This was probably the most challenging for the artist (Wayne Tennant) because the manmade lake was quite cold and dark which made it uncomfortable to stay in it long, but after about five or six takes, the shot was captured to great effect.
In short, the shoot took all of fourteen hours to shoot which made for an exhausting but successful day taking in the fact that there was a warm spell that particular weekend. Much appreciation goes out to the Director Stefan Verna for seeing the vision through successfully.
