This song was written by Champ Hood, Walter Hyatt and David Ball, of Uncle Walt's Band. I guess if you're here, you already know David Olney is a great songwriter and storyteller. And a good friend I might add. It is not the first time Olney played "Get away". He had already played it on June 23, 1996 at the Ryman in Nashville, during an all-stars tribute to Walter Hyatt.
