DESCRIPTION:
I recorded this off of Live365 Internet Radio in June of 2006. The name of the station that played the music was called "Hammondbeat Radio"-- an independent station which specialized in funk, blues, rock, R&B, jazz.... basically all things Hammond Organ. Unfortunately, the radio station is long since gone, so I'm glad I thought to record it and a few other songs along the way, while I could.

This was a pretty nice track, though the Hammond Organ is more relegated to the role of rhythm and comping instrument. Even so, the player did an excellent job. Nice opportunity to hear some sax and trombone in a non-jazz genre... something you don't hear too often anymore.
