VIRA

With the release of their debut EP "Recurrence" the band got quite a lot of publicity. They won the award as "Demo of the month" in the Denmark's biggest music magazine GAFFA, which gave them their first danish tour. The band also played at the 2008 Roskilde Festival. It resulted in some great support gigs with established bands as Mnemic, The Arcane Order, The Psyke Project, Nine (S) and Textures (NL).



After releasing their second EP "Re-Design" from 2009, the band took their level of musicality even further, and played a series of shows in both Denmark and the Netherlands, and supported Gojira (FR) in Denmark.



Vira is currently writing their debut album which is a concept-album dealing with different perceptions of life, people and the world. Expect the album to be released some time 2011. The band has recorded two of the songs from the upcoming album and released it as an album teaser which can be downloaded from their bandcamp profile.
