Väärät vieraat

Band was started at late 1997 when Kukka and Jonski decided to form band. At first, rehearsals were synonym for havin fun together, but soon they found out that they have own songs Music style turned out be a energetic punk rock mixed with pop melodies. Soon they have a drummer, Samuli and after that bassist Tune joined the band. Singer Anna was found from the club. And at spring they were doing first demo tape. The first gig was made in small club in their home town, Tampere.



First cd-ep was released at april 1999. After that band made lots of gigs around Tampere and in the other major towns in Finland. Record was sold out pretty soon and the band started to have a kind of local succees in Finland. At the end of the century band went to studio to record new stuff.



During next few years band made two d.i.y.tours in Baltic States, small tour in Finland and played in one of the biggest festival in Finland. Singer Anna directed bands second video Riiva. There was also some changes in line-up.



Väärät Vieraat has done two german tours during 2004-05. New full-lenght cd Vieras kirja was released on October 2005. After few gigs, a long time member Jonski quit Väärät Vieraat. Soon there was a new man in sight, Tuomas was known from metal band called Steep. More gigs and new stuff will be coming up soon
