DESCRIPTION:
VIDEOSEX was Slovenian synth-pop/new-wave band (1983-1992) in former Yugoslavia and later Slovenia.
Members were:Matjaž Kosi - keyboards (1983-1984), Janez Križaj - bass, Iztok Turk - drums, Anja Rupel - vocals. By the end of 1983 they recorded and self produced their first single "Moja mama" and "Kako bih voleo da si tu".The group recorded four albums. Their debut album, Videosex 84 appeared in 1983. The group broke up in 1992.
Anja performed with the internationally prominent industrial/techno group Laibach from Trbovlje, Slovenia. In 1988, she sang The Beatles' anthem, Across the Universe and was the first Slovene to be featured on MTV.
