I was commissioned to compose the score for a short film by Paul Ryan called The Red Army about the plight of the red squirrel in Scotland. Despite the tight budget, I recorded a clarinet and thanks to the multi-talented Vicky Cowles. Here is a short clip of the music. The film was premiered at the 2011 Edinburgh International Film Festival.
