DESCRIPTION:
Original song by female singer songwriter Veronique Acoustique, written while on a residential workshop run by Ray Davies ( Kinks) . He sent us to the village Hatherley in Devon to write a song on some of the things we saw. I found a poem outside a pub referring to a Female King ( probably Queen Elizabeth I) and throughout the village there were May poles and signs of many ancient pagan/goddess customs and artifacts on which I based my song.
