Introducing Velvet & Lace, the Spring/Summer 2016 runway make-up look. Featuring intricate and illuminating lace-inspired detail, dark and impactful red hues and metallic accents influenced by the 'Functionregalia’ womenswear show and hand-embroidered gold work shown on the Burberry runway.

Celebrating new Lip Velvet, the lips take on a powerful, soft-matte aesthetic in richly hued Oxblood. In contrast, skin is beautifully radiant whilst harnessing the signature 'Burberry glow’, using iconic Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base, mirroring the sheer and delicate fabrics within the collection. For warmth and definition the complexion is effortlessly sculpted and shaped with Face Contour pen.

Fresh Glow pen delivers precision strobing to key areas of the face, capturing the intense, flattering effect of runway lighting. A final touch of radiance is found with the lace-pattern embossed Spring/Summer 2016 Runway Palettes, in White and Nude Gold.

Washed with a painterly layer of Eye Colour Cream in limited edition Nude Gold, the S/S16 eye look references the collection's military-style coats with golden cording and chain details. To complete the collection, runway nail shades Black Cherry, Optic White and Stone are available as a limited edition three-piece set.
