Founded in 1997 by it's singer and songwriter Drazen Markotic, Vega has been from it's very beginings and to this day is one of Croatias most beloved and hottest metal bands.

Although Vega enjoyed a constant fan support from it's very beginnings, it wouldn't be until Apil of 2004 that Vega makes it's first studio "Iz Sjene Dubina" ("From the Depths of the Shadow") album for FMJ.

The album was almoast instantaneously sold out, but tension in the band grew, and a break up was inevitable, and so it came to be that in late 2004 a new line-up was introduced.

That line-up entered the studio to record a new album, a follow up to the best selling first album and a work that would mirror the raw energy and emotion that the band boasted.

So it came to be that the "S Trnom u Srcu" ("The Thorned Heart") was recorded and itroduced to the public through a number of shows. The new album was released 16.04.07 and so far it's exceeding all expectations.
