While on the scene at Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival, 2012, Honest Tune's Rex Thomson caught up with Chicago's own Michael Harrison Berg and his Van Ghost, who performed as an acoustic duo while counterpart Jennifer Hartswick soaked up the Caribbean sun as part of the annual Mayan Holidaze event.

Playing a number from their most recent release, 'The Effect EP' Berg demonstrated once again why Van Ghost is a band to keep an eye on... honest lyrics that are sung with a feeling that translates easily.
