DESCRIPTION:
Jazz vocalist Vanessa Rubin is about to make her grand re-entrance this year as she releases her latest project with saxophonist Don Braden titled "Full Circle." When Vanessa first moved to New York City to pursue her music career, both Don and her used to perform as a Organ group and turn music fans out their firey and blazing roots steeped in soul and jazz music. So, "Full Circle" takes music fans back to Vanessa's roots here in NYC as well as her hometown of Cleveland, Ohio where she also got her start as a vocalist in her early 20's.

Some twenty-five years on the jazz scene and over 7 recordings later, Vanessa has performed with the best of best including Pharoah Sanders, Etta Jones, Carmen McRae, Lionel Hampton, Cedar Walton, and Grover Washington, Jr. She also studied at the famed Jazz Cultural Theater under NEA Jazz Master Dr. Barry Harris.
