But. the SAHB story has never been an easy read,and its still weaving,twisting & turning even when you just want it to go straight ahead.
And after a sold out tour in 2007, 2008 was looking good,then came Zal Clemison’s shock retirement announcement, So once again S.A.H.B had to face the impossible task of decideing whether or not to carry on.
So with a deep breath the band took a sideways step and brought in an old friend of Ted's - MR JULIAN HUTSON SAXBY,who the band thought would be the ideal choice to deliver the music with the original style,that fans had not heard for many years.And with Julian not trying to be a replacement for ZAL (who could) he has brought with him the classic sound that so many had asked for!! The S.A.H.B’s legasy is safe,and one thing for sure, they have allways been true to themselves and the fans, the legand of the SENSATIONAL ALEX HARVEY BAND just keeps refusung to die!!
