Doing this album out of order, but why the hell not? Cover of Bloc Party's "V.A.L.I.S." (Vast Active Living Intelligence System), 8th track off "Four" (2012)! Awesome song, awesome rhythms. It's got this cool funk element to it, as well as a really Top 40-ish pop melody in the chorus. I remember reading somewhere that Kele said he wanted to make indie rock "less white". So this album is jam-packed with hip hop/RnB rhythms and melodies. Anyway, it makes for a really cool sound. Enjoy! For more music check out:
