Lushus Daim & The Pretty Vain - More Than You Can Handle *1985* [FULL ALBUM] - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 22, 2017
DESCRIPTION:
[ElectroFunk/Funk/R&B/Electro-Pop/Minneapolis Sound] Electro (R&B/Soul) artist Lushus Daim & The Pretty Vain 's 1985 LP album titled: "More Than You Can Handle". Excellent album. Ashame it never got full commercial success because in my opinion every track has potential to hit the top charts in those days. It's pretty solid from beginning to end. It seems that Motown may have been looking for another Vanity (or Apollonia), whose debut solo album they released the year before, or at least a female artist who emulated the looks and vibe that Prince had created in his protegees. But while the music has many Prince-type qualities, it was in fact produced by Leon Sylvers III, who was at the height of his electro-funk craft, having produced groups like Shalamar, The Whispers, Krystol and Five Star. Unfortunately after the album was released she disappeared from the public eye. She did perform: "The One You Love" (Track 2) on Soul Train though, and has a couple music videos floating around. Regardless of her disappearance at least we have this piece of legendary electro-funk to remember her by. This album was released on Motown, Conceited Records '85.

Tracklist:
1) "More Than You Can Handle" (0:10)
2) "The One You Love" (4:08)
