Entrepreneur/Songwriter/Artist  LaVar "Vacity" Johnson, born in Richmond,Va         Entering into VARs high school years, he began Djing where he got dubbed the name DJ VAR by childhood friends & accomplished keyboardist Howard D. Boisseau (Black Street, Jill Scott).  As he started djing, he started writing rhymes as a hobby as well.  Though after one year of establishing VSOP, VAR brought to the table along with Gregory Redz Turner an entertainment company called WallStreet Entertainment. Throughout the early years of WallStreet Entertainments minimal success was achieved through radio play in the Philly area, various college stations, also winning talent showcases in the New York with Philly MC CISE.New Beginnings in 2006, VaCity Entertainment was formed which led to a new discover for VAR as an artist!!! VaCity teamed up with Grammy (Ashanti), Oscar (Maria Full of Grace), & Soul Train (R&B album of the year Ashanti) award winning producer & long time friend Rio Grandhe to embark on this musical journey!
