The Tears , from Torrance, Ca., consisted of blonde vocalist / composer, Teri Akers and Jill Moore, Dick Dawson, & Sherrod Tiernan. Band leader/ vocalist / composer Johnny Otis acquired sole ownership of Dig Records in 1957. Officially, Dig Records issued 41 singles and 4 Long Play albums and the rest is history.
UNTIL THE DAY I DIE was later covered by The Teen Queens, but again, this is the original.
