About the Artist:
Rafa Matoses aka Raszia born in late summer of 1980 in the city of Valencia, but spends most of his childhood in Alicante. From a young age he was attracted by the music during the eighties sounded in clubs Valencia. The influences of his uncles and spending time in the Swedish zone makes it very early to know the groups that were stuck in those years, The Smiths, Simple Minds, Depeche Mode, The Cult, New Order, Front 242, The Cure, The Stone Roses, Then Jerico, Nitzer Ebb, Information Society, The Clash, Ramones ... In the late nineties learn to punch thanks to his good friend Sergio Pastor and became interested in the history of the Valencian night and investigates the whole evolution of music in the clubs of the city. This fact also makes research on the history of electronics, making sound faithful follower of Detroit techno and all in general. In 2003, and with Sergio Casas, begin to emit a radio program dedicated to the UPV two styles which at that time were not very popular in the city as were the trance and progressive house. The program runs until the end of 2005 and he made numerous interviews and reports on everything related to electronics. In 2006, Robert, one of the new officers of the club Sunday La Soirée, offers to participate in the first edition of the festival [dark & rare], with which it sought to recover for a few hours the musical spirit eclectic Valencia eighties. The success of the party makes Raszia to become part of the template of residents next to Rober own, Miss Yuls and Fabel. Currently Raszia is totally focused on his work as a producer, having already launched
numerous jobs market. In the spring of 2010 remix competition wins prestigious seal of
Records Software (HD Substance, Oscar Mulero, Pablo Bolivar, Iñaqui Marin Tigerskin ...). In addition to software, has released Raszia his tracks on labels like Main Concept, Tekx Records USA, UK and Crossworld Beat to Beat.
