Use Two or More Audio Interfaces at Once // Mac OS X - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jan 27, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
**Please excuse this super old video. I'd take it down and have an ultra-slick channel but it's helped a lot of people.**

What?
Aggregate devices. A clever way of stitching together multiple audio interfaces.

Why?
To increase the number of available inputs and outputs in your DAW to give greater freedom whilst recording.

How?
Applications, Utilities, Audio MIDI Setup. Create a new aggregate device: + sign, bottom left. Make sure you set clock source, speed and DRIFT CORRECTION.

The order you select and place the sub-devices within your aggregate device will affect which inputs and outputs are assigned to which number.
