The Truth was a mod revival band started in 1982 by Dennis Greaves, the former lead singer of the UK r'n'b band Nine Below Zero. Unlike most revival bands of that era, what differentiated the The Truth was their soul-pop sound harkening back to '60s Tamla/Motown instead of power pop. This is one of my favorites with that driving northern soul beat...enjoy!
