Soliloquium is a three piece death/doom metal band from Stockholm Sweden featuring members of Desolator and Ending Quest. The band began in 2011 and have released 3 EPs (When Silence Grows Venomous, The Concept Of Escape, & A Night Of Burdens) in that time. Their music draws clear influence from old school doom metal bands such as Katatonia, Anathema, Paradise Lost and October Tide.

Absence is a compendium of the 3 Soliloquium EPs in one. The releases features 6 original tracks and 2 covers; the covers: Forever Failure by Paradise Lost and Zombie by The Cranberries.
