DESCRIPTION:
You know DJ Drama. You know Don Cannon. But what about the third member of The Aphilliates DJ Sense? As the R&B aficionado of the Atlanta-based DJ clique, he's the one making the moves right now riding the returning wave of authentic-sounding rhythm and blues. But don't get it twisted, Sense is in no way shape or form an overnight celebrity. Oh no. He's deep in this game. Just ask August Alsina, someone Sense brought to the attention of the masses way before he blew up and started stealing the hearts of your girlfriend, and her girlfriends, and her girlfriends girlfriends. Or perhaps you could ask Chris Brown, whose In My Zone mixtape was hosted by Sense and Drama back in 2010. Ever heard of the highly successful R&B mixtape series Rhythm & Streets? Yeah, that's DJ Sense's. Do you catch my drift? This is a man you should be knowing. If you don't know, now you know.

Taking some time out before recording his weekly Sirius Satellite radio show with his Aphilliate/Academy brethren, Mr. Trendsetter himself sat down with me at Means Street Studios in Atlanta to discuss his humble beginnings, his newly released club smash"What You Know", meeting T-Pain for the first time and what fans can expect to hear on his upcoming debut album. Giving me the scoop on the artists set to appear on Trendsetter: The Album, names such as Jeremih, Monica, Sevyn Streeter, Mack Wilds and more are all thrown into the mix. Not only that, Sense exclusively reveals that there is a surprise involving August Alsina on the upcoming album.

Check out the video up top and be sure to pick up a copy of "What You Know" feat. T-Pain, Migos & K-Camp on iTunes.
