BIO-
Scrap Rabbit began in 2010 with experimental cassettes like 'The Dead ringer demos', 'Artificial Vortex', and 'The Abattoir'. After making dozens of tapes Scrap Rabbit embarked on creating a homemade album with 24 songs taken from a 12 hour transfer session in 2011 dubbed "Circle Of Chaos" The cover depicts a tree planted in a trash can sprouting garbage instead of leaves with 2 arrows rotating on the side indicating the circle of life polluted and uprooted into a circle of chaos. This album served as an opening to the series and has been improved and changed over time. 3 other early homemade albums also were convened that year including "Rabid Remixes, Energy Storm, and Put Out To Pasture" which is a rare collection of deformations made mostly by rough demented audio scraps with enough obscurity to make for an otherworldly music style. The full album is planned to surface on Storm Seizure this Halloween 2015. In 2012, 15 CD's were made from stacks of tapes made that year which proved crucial in the progression and concepts of SR whether my gangster based Industrial angst "The War Machine'' or the more accessible "Collector Of Lost Souls" or the garbage (trash thrash) style of "Dumpster Divers and the Receptacle Kings". 2013, did not slow down 5 more albums were made and the long awaited (first ever) Scrap Rabbit music video was to be made titled "Eraser Pet" which appeared on the original channel which has since been defunct. The debut video then became "Nothing TOo Great To KeEp" which was a concept video about garbage day. It wasn't until 2015 that I decided to number the series after over 100 videos were then created. The following year a bunch of bootleg style cd's were made out of lost outtakes, rare samples, and various recordings that were on mp3 and not used. The style of my music was originally distorted and guitar driven under the original name "Awsive Osive" which is inspired by the chemical corrosive sign & stands for "all we see is very empty, or somehow is very extreme" The project lasted only 2 years 2007 and 2009 but enough music was made for even a hardcore fan to indulge in. The music of SR can range from somewhat childlike and simplistic to dark and very elaborate. Though a lot of the music is synth or keyboard based, guitar has always stuck in the mainframe, newer music sometimes features saxophone, bagpipes, and barrels for rhythm. As other means to expand the series a digital story based blogspot was made called "tales from the rabbit can" Plus flickr, vampire freaks, tumblr, and fourfour.com are also used. The original site used was myspace which I no longer update since it was ruined with harder navigation, no view counter, along with other letdowns. In 2015 I started adding underground videos to vimeo as less junk overshadows the search results there, also this year 7 new albums have surfaced for digital download on bandcamp all in October including the long awaited Wilterland...
