Trace Bundy - Sweet Child O Mine on 3 homemade instruments - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 23, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
Here is Trace Bundy's first attempt at using 3 of his dad's homemade experimental instruments in one song - playing "Sweet Child O Mine" on the StickTar, the Paddle-Bass, and the SewTar. See descriptions of the instruments below!
Performed live at eTown Hall - Boulder, CO, June 15th 2013.

Three of Al Bundy's homemade instruments:

- The Sticktar: Made from a piece of old driftwood found in a Colorado lake. The fretboard is made from a paint-stirring stick. This instrument cost $19.70 to make.

- The Paddle-Bass: Constructed using a Feather Brand canoe paddle. Definitely the longest of his homemade instruments. The frets are made of brass welding rod.

- The SewTar: Made from an old 1930s sewing box. The back opens up to reveal several spools of tread. We glued on a 17th fret made of thick wire right before the concert started, in order to play a high note in the song.

ENJOY!
