"TOULOUSE ENGELHARDT is an award winning, internationally recognized guitar virtuoso and without a doubt one of the only true masters of the 12 String Guitar on the planet! Toulouse was one of the last of the "Takoma 7", a notorious group of brilliant guitar innovators including his mentors John Fahey and Leo Kottke who brought about the current renaissance of acoustic guitar music and who recorded for the legendary Takoma Records from 1959-1976. Toulouse Engelhardt's Hollywood (Disney), Polygram, Takoma, Sierra, Briar first album, "Toullusions" is today still considered one of the "Top" solo instrumental guitar albums of all time! He has recorded and toured with some of the greatest legends of rock including the "Byrds" on their final American Tour in 1973, and has worked with many rock "Hall of Famer's" ever since including: Jack Bruce of Rock and Rolls greatest supergroup "Cream", indivdual members of the Byrds, including the late great Clarence White , John York, Gene Clark of Dillard and Clark, Bluesman "Bad to the Bone" George Thorgood, Adrian Belew of "King Crimson" and "Talking Heads", Dave Mason, Stevie Winwood and Remi Kabaka of "Traffic", Todd Rungren, Bob Weir and the "Grateful Dead" and even performed twice with the Los Angeles Philharmonic Orchestra!
