I think this is the earliest performance I have from Torvill & Dean, recorded at the Queens Ice Rink 50th anniversary gala in May 1980. That was the year they both gave up their jobs and teamed up with Betty Callaway and went on the become European and World champions the following year. Good grief, was that really thirty years ago?!?
