Aggressive, yet melodic; Clean and dirty at the same time. TORN ASUNDER's
diverse music seperates them from the mass of generic metal that suffocates the
scene, local and internationally. It makes the listener think twice before
pigeonholing them into any specific genre. Heavily influenced by the American
Metalcore movement, the band brings a distinctively unique flavour to the sound.
TORN ASUNDER have shared the stage with acts such as Sunk Loto, Wish for Wings,
Mourning Tide, A Secret Death, Five Star Prison Cell, Lynchmada, Frankenbok,
Japunga, The Amity Affliction, Bodyjar, Psycroptic, Resin Dogs, Butterfingers
and many other local acts, as well as supporting international acts Chimaira
(USA) Whitechapel (USA),Blessed By A Broken Heart (CAN) Shadows Chasing Ghosts
(UK) Cold By Winter, In Dread Response, Fuelset and Sixlip (NZ). TORN ASUNDER
have toured Queensland, Victoria and New South Wales, with plans to tour the
rest of the country in the works. The band was named as ‘One of Queensland’s
hardest working and fastest rising bands’ in a recent radio interview.
