DESCRIPTION:
Nebb orginally from Poland, attended the Academy of Fine Arts in Oslo from 1976 to 1980. This is a reading in Norwegian of a Poem by Tor Jonsson, delivered in Nebb's characteristic Polish accent. Together with guitar player Bjørn Storknes ( formerly of Holy Toy) he made this Homage to Jonsson (1816-1951). The Poem reflects a closeness to naure, not surprising given that Jonsson was from the countryside Gudbrandsdalen, Norway.
The deep longing for nature that Jonsson imparts struck Nebb as very familiar, when he stumbled over a book by the Poet. The first result of this acquaintance was the CD Natural (1999), on S2 label, which contains a mixture of Nebb's own Poetry and that of Jonsson.
