Princess Zelda AMV: "Too late" (Ayumi Hamasaki) - Video
PUBLISHED:  Dec 06, 2009
DESCRIPTION:
Just one day before Spirit Tracks US Release, I decided to upload this AMV that I've been working on for half a month now. I got the idea when I first heard this song.

The games used are "Ocarina of Time"; "The Wind Waker"; "Twilight Princess"; "Spirit Tracks"(promotional clips) and a little bit "Minish Cap".
There's a lot of ZeLink Shipping in this vid, so if you don't like this, you'd rather not watch it.

The song is "Too Late" by "Ayumi Hamasaki". It's about how an overdose of ambition can destory a person from inside.
Even though it doesn't necessarily fit with Princess Zelda's personality (unless interprete a lot) I thought the sound of the music fit her a lot.
Those who know the song might notice, that this is not the version from her "LOVEppears" album. I don't know when she made this version, but I thought it fit better for an AMV than her original LOVEppears version, so I used it.
Here's a translation:

The world has started spinning backwards.
But only the acceleration has increased.
When you noticed this, it was dark before your feet.
And you were already standing at the edge of a cliff.

You can't pull back.
Even if you turn pale nothing will change.

With the light
you've kept sharpening and sharpening,
you continue and continue this path,
even if it leads you to the end of the world.

There's more to life
than money or honor.
You will always pretend not to know this.
And be frighteened to notice and get hurt.

Your dream from back then, your wishes,
They were all granted, but...

Faster, Faster than everyone, you even pass the wind.
Higher, Higher than everyone, you even pierce through the clouds.
Even if that means that you're living to quickly.

With the light
you've kept sharpening and sharpening,
you continue and continue this path,
even if it leads you to the end of the world.
