We caught up with Tony Visconti directly after the "Platinum Producer's Conference" at AES, of which he was quite rightfully a panel member. The man who produced some of the greatest albums by David Bowie, T.Rex, and many others, also produced some great insights about the current state of the recoding industry during this interview.

Visconti realizes that the internet has irrevocably changed the way music was made, but that looking back at how it was ain't the answer. In short: we may not being having lunch with The Boss in between sessions anymore, but we also don't have to sit next to [artist who shall remain nameless who's work / personal hygiene we weren't such a fan of].
