If it were up to Tonya Louise she would be singing for millions everyday starting with her hometown Visalia, Ca. Since being named “The Next Big Thing” at the Kings County Fair In 2006, Tonya has performed at well know clubs such as Trout’s and Buck Owens Crystal palace, both in Bakersfield, Ca. She has proudly performed our National Anthem at countless venues in the Central Valley and performs live acoustic shows when ever and where ever she can. With Hopes high this year, Tonya plans to take the world by storm, ONE COUNTRY FAN AT A TIME.

------

“She is a tremendous talent, with an amazing personality, and great attributes that give her all of the qualities to become a success in the country music industry”-Joey Perez (J-Live Entertainment)

-----

Growing up you could always hear Tonya singing a well known melody or watching He-Haw, Barbara Mandrel, Donnie & Marie, and later Star Search. But it wasn’t until 1994 when people started to stop and listen. So after years of patience and now with real songs from real Nashville song writers such as Jim McBride, she feels confident enough to sing for the world. With songs titles like “I Ain’t Tammy”(Jack Williams & Kimberlye Gold ,Nashville), Another Love Song” (Brian McCabe,Canada/Nashville), “A Soldier’s Wife” (Jack Williams, Nashville),and “Coffee in the Morning”(Tonya Louise), Tonya says she’s ready and this is only the beginning.

-----

“I Ain’t Tammy just grows on you and I think that’s a major factor for a good song. I’ve heard a couple different versions from the writers but In my humble opinion, Tonya’s version has more heart and soul and passion than any and Tonya is well on her way.”-Steve Massam (BBC-UK)

-----

Tonya’s musical influences began with greats like Dolly Parton, Patsy Cline, Tanya Tucker, Martina McBride, Garth Brooks, Buck Owens, George Jones, Merle Haggard, and of course the stars from all the great old shows we loved so much. Not only does Tonya write her own music, she is currently recording and singing songs written by well known Nashville song writers such as Jack Williams (who wrote for the Oakridge Boys at their peak), Jim McBride (who’s songs have been recorded by over 80 major label artists like George Jones, Diamond Rio,Trace Adkins, Allan Jackson, and many more), and Kimberlye Gold of San Francisco, Ca.

This multi-talented single mother has seen her share of set backs. Raising her son single handedly and working two jobs at age 18 she put her music on stand-by until she was on her feet. As she pushed through to pursue music again in 2007 she put it on stand-by once more when her daughter was hospitalized with pneumonia caused by severe Asthma in early 2008, the same month Tonya had planned to record her debut album in Nashville, TN. Despite set back after set back, Tonya keeps her dreams in sight and now with her daughter healthy and her son on his way to a career of his own, Tonya is determined to make “2010” her DEBUT year!!

-----

“My children are why I sing. They give me a reason everyday

to sing at the top of my lungs and as long as people keep telling

me I have a gift then I will use what God gave me to try and make this

world better for everyone’s children!!” -Tonya Louise

Tonya can also be seen supporting her daughter’s school and contributing to non-profit organizations such as The American Lung Association(supporting their efforts to help with Asthma in the Central Valley), St Jude’s, Valley Children’s Hospital, and the Law Enforcement Assistance Connection (LEAC). LEAC is an organization dedicated to supporting families that have lost their loved ones in the line of duty. She gives with all her heart to their fundraisers, offers her support when ever needed, and stands behind our military one hundred percent.
