BEHIND THE SONG: The Griffith Family share the story behind their latest Southern Gospel Radio release, "I'm Gonna Leave The Light On".

The song was written by Toni Jolene Clay and John Mathis. They scheduled a writing session to complete an unfinished song. At the time, John was the pastor at a small church and since he opened and closed up the building for every service ... the last one to turn the lights off when he left...they started talking about "leaving the light on". A new song was born...now The Griffith Family have taken it to another dimension! Listen to them tell how that came about....
