DESCRIPTION:
Hello and welcome to my page! I am a high school Art and English teacher by day, and an aspiring music producer on the side. I began recording at the age of 14. I used my drum set, piano, and a tape recorder...I would layer the parts and listen to them on my walkman cassette player... talk about old school!! I got my first "real" job during my last semester of college. So I used my first "real" paycheck to buy a yamaha PSR292 keyboard. The keyboard was very simple...all recording had to be done live - there was no sequencing, quantizing, editing features, etc - and I used a tape deck to save my work since the keyboard had no memory.

I quickly outgrew that keyboard and bought the Korg Karma and a Roland 808 for sampling - neither of which I have anymore. Long story short, I currently use logic with the M-Audio Keystation Pro 88, Protools, and the MPC 2000XL.

My goal as a producer is to be as diverse as possible. Since music is the universal language, I would love to communicate with all!!

After teaching for 8 years, I have acquired a wealth of knowledge regarding issues that teenagers constantly face. Consequently, I want to use my success in the music industry launch a variety of services for inner city youth such as: mentoring, job training, and athletic leagues which will keep them off the streets and out of trouble.

My primary concern when dealing with young people is building up their inner being. Because once their inner self is solid, then they will have a sense of pride and confidence, and will be motivated to do well in all areas of life.
