Time to getcha' sum!!!

FRET12 met up with Tom Maxwell and Greg Tribbett; the larger-than-life guitar duo of heavy metal supergroup HELLYEAH as they took over the Fuel Room at Austin's Saloon in Libertyville, IL!

Currently on tour with Nonpoint and All That Remains, this tour has made stops at some of the best venues on the circuit, and has been bringing some of the heaviest music to fans of all backgrounds!

Get the full story of Greg and Tom's massive sounding live rig, how they went about writing their killer new record "Band of Brothers", and all of the craziest tour stories in this brand new Artist Connect from FRET12.

Tom and Greg took us through their live tones, which primarily revolve around the Egnater Armageddon series of guitar heads. Though simple, the guitarists maintain an impressively huge (and loud!) live sound with these rigs. Get to learn all about life on the road with this legendary group of musicians, from the best tours, parties, cookouts, and all the other latest fan questions about fellow bandmates, producers, other bands and more!

The guys also run us through the story of how they got involved with their guitar companies, and what sort of things they look for in their custom instruments. Check out their full assortment of guitars ranging from Tom's original Dean Soltero signature (starting a sanded neck trend), to his new obsession with the Dean Cadillac! Greg is now playing Legator Guitars (starting with THIS tour!), and we were able to check out a new V that will be an early prototype for an upcoming signature model line of guitars!

Stay tuned at FRET12 for more from these guys as well as new upcoming Artist Connect interviews!
