DESCRIPTION:
Something of a musician, surfer, and troubadour all rolled into one, Tom Freund's musical acumen is as far and wide as both coasts he's lived on. This New York raised, California transplant, rose to notoriety following a chance introduction to fellow musician, Ben Harper while attending Claremont's Pitzer College in Southern California. Tom and Ben's musical chemistry exploded with the 1992 release of "Pleasure and Pain", and from that point on, Tom's mark in the music business was sealed. Tom toured as bassist for the Alt-Country group, The Silos, and soon after released his debut solo album, "North American Long Weekend" to widespread critical acclaim. "Two Moons" is Tom's seventh studio album, which boasts a true reflection of today's urbane mix of folk, rock, jazz, and roots music.
Eldon goes one-on-one with Tom ahead of his 2015 Bonnaroo gig and appearance at Nashville's hot new venue, Acme Feed & Seed.
