2009 (Tom Baxter wrote this song for veteran songstress, Dame Shirley Bassey, which she recorded and released on her 2009 CD. This clip is a live version performed on her Concert TV Special). Dame Shirley started show business as a chorus/dance girl back in 1953. Shortly thereafter when the managers/producers heard her sing she received a recording contract and gave up her dancing shows permanently. In 2013, Shirley is celebrating her Diamond Anniversary in show business (60 Years). And, as one can see, her powerful vocal abilities are still going strong. I hope that younger generation listeners will have a listen to this great 'VOICE' of the prior generation, and appreciate it.
