DESCRIPTION:
Rising star saxophonist Matt Carmichael (https://www.mattcarmichaelmusic.com) is undoubtedly one of the most exciting new talents on the scene. At just 21, he has already been a finalist in the BBC Young Jazz Musician competition, received the Peter Whittingham Development Award and released his first album ('Where Will The River Flow') to considerable critical acclaim.
For this concert he will be joined by the awesome FERGUS MCCREADIE (piano), Martin Kershaw (sax), Mario Caribe (bass) and Tom Bancroft (drums). The performance will be live-streamed from Pathhead Village Hall on www.facebook.com/playtimemusic1/live on Fri 21 May, starting 8.15pm.
