And the waves are a series of walls that you crash into

Don't be afraid to let the sea
Put you right where it wants you to be
The salt, the salt it's smarter than you
It strips away what you don't need

You put on your glasses
(And what do you see?)
There's too much molasses
(Clear the debris)
You take a few passes
It hurts
The boats unsteady
(Hang on tight)
And before you're ready
(Big spotlight)
Trumpets and confetti
The horizon falls and land is rising up to meet you

Don't be afraid to let the sea
Put you right where it wants you to be
The salt, the salt it's smarter than you
It strips away what you don't need

Name the plants and animals
You'll see this land is habitable
Dust and dirt and falling rain
Tapping a new rhythm into your skull

Step, step, step and you can't contain
The sense thatthisisall YOURS to maintain
Things go slow, things go fast
Watch it grow to burn in flames
