Tia Sprocket played drums with Ministry and toured with Luscious Jackson before recording her debut EP with Hank Williams III in Nashville.

Raw, powerful, and rootsy, this collection of hip swaggering backwoods grooves drives all who listen up and away on a brand new frequency.

Tia says, I think people are starving for the feeling you get from honesty. Id like to believe I can deliver that with a timeless sound to match.

Tia grew up in Hoboken, New Jersey and by the age of 15 had already joined her first band, pioneering female rock trio Gut Bank. She went on to drum for Sexpod, Lunachicks, and Raging Slab before joining Luscious Jackson as multi-instrumentalist performer, playing events like the Lilith Fair where she performed on stage with the Pretenders, Sheryl Crow and Bonnie Raitt.

She then played drums with Ministry on a European and American tour before taking time out to write and record. She plays all the instruments on her debut EP, released in June 2005.

Going from drumming to songwriting felt like a natural progression, says Tia. I always loved to pick up a guitar anywhere at anytime and lose myself. It was the perfect challenge to make it work.

Tia also can be found on Hank Williams IIIs new album singing backups on the single Lowdown.
