It is a dark time for Joe Hardcore. Although This Is Hardcore 2010 sold out in 36 hours and was the uncontested fest of all fests in 2010, Imperial troops have forged an alliance to dethrone Joe and his annual celebration of all things hardcore. With accusations of being too violent with stage-diving showgoers, Joe's reputation as a respected denizen and ambassador of hardcore began to crumble.

Commandeered by a myriad of stalwart fests such as: United Blood, Chaos in Tejas, Black N Blue Bowl, Rainfest, Sound and Fury, The Rumble, and East Coast Tsunami, the decentralized Imperial force has left Joe unsure and apprehensive about defending his honor.
