Wame Mosime, the Director of Global Programs & Advocacy at the International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC), speaks to Good Morning Trinidad and Tobago host Ria Roopchandsingh about the development of treatment programs for HIV/AIDS. Together with ITPC’s global program staff, Wame develops advocacy strategies for communities of people living with HIV across the globe. Before joining ITPC, she led HIV projects funded by USAID / PEPFAR, DFID and EU, and has worked on health-related programming from Africa, Central Asia, Latin America and the Caribbean. She served as a key program manager for the International HIV/AIDS Alliance in the Caribbean, based in Trinidad and Tobago for several years.
