"Take Your Love Away"
Originally released on songwriter Khaled Tabbara's Pre-Zou solo album - "Khaled... The Bright Blues" in the year 2000. This take on the song was born somewhere around 2005 - when Khaled and previous Zou musicians Brendan Gauntner (lead guitar), Jason Clark (bass) and Nick Kloss (drums) were jamming in Khaled's living room. Khaled rewrote the melody to his old song to fit the cool chords Kloss was playing on a guitar. The Zou performed it a few times under the title "Take Your Love Away (soul swamp edition)". Many years later Khaled finally recorded this updated version at The Recording Arts Technology Center in Cleveland Ohio in 2012 with the following line-up.

Performed By:
Khaled Tabbara - Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, and Piano
Gordon Gagich - Backing Vocals, Bass and Lead Guitar
Andrew Veres - Drums
Tommy Wiggins - Hammond B3
Melody and Lyrics by Khaled Tabbara

Recorded at The Recording Arts Technology Center at Tri-C by Larry Crane - Engineer / Co-Producer
Mastered at Cauliflower Audio by Adam Boose
